BREAUX BRIDGE, La — A Breaux Bridge man is face rape charges following an investigation.
St. Martin Sheriff's deputies received a report of an alleged sexual assault in February 2020. Following the investigation an arrest warrant was issued for 45-year-old Nelson Theriot. Deputies arrest Theriot this morning on one count of third degree rape.
He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. No bond has been set at this time.
KATC does not identify victims involved in sex crimes.
