Some people in Abbeville are raising awareness of unsolved murder cases in the city.
Family and friends of murder victims gathered at St. Mary Congregational Church Hall today to speak about their grief and receive support.
The event named Justice for Unsolved Murders was spearheaded by Denise Levine. Today marks a year since Levine’s son, 16-year-old Chazton Guidry, was shot and killed. No suspects have been arrested in the case, and it’s still an ongoing investigation for the city’s police department.
