LAFAYETTE — While the UL Ragin' Cajuns are in Mobile, Alabamapreparing for the LendingTree Bowl, at home, Ragin' Cajun gear has become a hot commodity.
Louisiana Hot Stuff owner David Faulk says that he has seen in an increase in sales following the team's 10-3 season.
"We probably are somewhere around 30% higher in sales than we were this time last year," Faulk said.
Most of the recent sales have been sweatshirts and jackets.
"Anything that might give them a little warmth in the weather we're going into, I know they appreciate that," Faulk explained.
Customers' spirits have been high as the season went on.
"It's like Christmas, and then another little Christmas. I love it. Whenever our teams are successful, even though the support is always there, people get excited when we get to this level," Faulk added.
Customers not only are excited for Monday's game, but the overall season for the Saints and LSU Tigers.
"It's been a really good year for us," Faulk said.
Monday night's game will air on ESPN at 6:30 pm.
