Morgan City Police have arrested a second man wanted in connection with a September shooting that left three people injured in Patterson.

Kirt Favors, 20, of Lafayette, was booked on Monday after he was located in Bayou Vista.

He was booked on warrants for two counts attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm in the city limits.

Another man wanted in the case, Randolph Joseph, 26, was arrested in October after he was found swimming in the Lafayette Airport Lake. To read about his arrest, click here.

Favors has been arrested, questioned and shot in shootings before. He’s currently facing a charge of aggravated assault in court in Lafayette, accused of shooting at children at a Boys and Girls Club in October 2017. He also was arrested in connection with another shooting in Patterson that happened in November 2017, and was questioned in connection with a fatal November 2017 shooting in Lafayette. Another person was booked in connection with that incident.

Favors was himself a victim of a shooting, also at a Boys and Girls Club, that happened in March 2017.
