Police are investigating a report of shots fired near an apartment complex on Point Claire Highway.
Arnaudville Police Chief Eddy LeCompte said police responded to a call of multiple shots fired. They found a car in the ditch, but the car hadn’t been hit by any bullets, he said.
No one was shot, and no other injuries were reported, he said.
Police are working to find witnesses to the incident, he said. Anyone with information on the shooting should call St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 948-TIPS.
