Stephensville Elementary School in Lower St. Martin Parish will be closed Tuesday, May 14 due to flooding.
There is no water in the school, but some of the surrounding neighborhoods and roads are flooded, according to Allen Blanchard, Jr., St. Martin Parish Superintendent.
The school system is in contact with parish government and will alert the public if the school will reopen Wednesday.
