6:41 p.m. update: All lanes are now open I-10 West at Mile Marker 119 (past Butte La Rose). Congestion is approaching six miles.
6:34 p.m. update: I-10 West is closed at LA 415 (Lobdell) due to the emergency repairs to the catch basins on I-10 West at LA 328 (Breaux Bridge). Drivers are being diverted onto LA 415 North to US 190 West. Use caution.
6:10 p.m. update: The right lane is blocked on I-10 West at Mile Marker 119 (past Butte La Rose) due to a stalled vehicle. Congestion has reached five miles.
6:00 p.m. update:
The left lane of I-10 West remains closed as emergency repairs are being made to the catch basins near Breaux Bridge. Traffic congestion is continuing to persist.
If possible, DOTD advises drivers to use a different route when passing through the area.
