St. Martin Parish Government will be closing the pontoon bridge to all traffic beginning early morning Thursday, September 20, 2018.
The bridge is expected to be closed through Thursday, October 4, 2018, for bridge repairs.
Officials urge motorists to make plans to detour on I-10 Basin Bridge.
