The Village of Parks will be getting a new village hall.
The building, which is set to be built on Periou Street is situated across from Village Park.
Mayor Kevin Kately and council members were at the site Thursday August 30, 2018, for the groundbreaking ceremony.
According to the mayor, the work on the building should start work early next week.
Kately says this is one of several improvements they are making to the town.
