On Saturday, June 22 at 8:30 a.m., the Town of Port Barre will be shutting off the water north of Bayou Courtableu to make repairs to a gas line (water line runs on top of the gas line).
This shut off will last six hours and affects everyone across the bridge north of the Bayou. All residents along Saizan Avenue, including east and west Courtableau streets as well as all intersecting streets including the O.G. Track will be affected.
Once the water is restored, a boil water advisory will be issued for precautionary measures.
