The boil advisory issued last week for Lawtell Water District 1 has been lifted, officials say.
The water is now safe to drink, they say.

Lawtell Water District 1 has issued a boil water advisory for some customers.
The advisory was issued due to a broken water main.
The following areas are under the advisory until further notice:
Sumner Road
Brenda Lane
Hwy. 190 West (9700 block)
St. Landry Head Start
