The Sunset Herb Festival, cancelled yesterday due to rain, took place today.
The annual herb and garden festival takes place on Marie Street, across from the old Sunset High School.
It is sponsored by the Garden Club.
It started this morning at 9:00 a.m. and continued until 4:00 p.m.
Available at the festival were fresh herbs, Herbal products, yard art, native plants, plants and flowers.
Guest speakers were on hand to talk about gardening, planting, flowers and herbs – the types and how to use them.
There also were train rides and face painting for children.
