A man from Eunice died this morning following a two-vehicle crash near Kinder, according to State Police.
Officials say that on October 3, 2018, shortly before 5:00 a.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on US Hwy 190 east on Kinder in Allen Parish. An investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by 30-year-old James M. Richardson of Eunice crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle.
Richardson wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen Parish Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the second vehicle received only minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
