LAFAYETTE, La. – Two juveniles were injured in a Saturday night shooting.
The shooting happened at Debaillon Park in Lafayette at 7:00 pm June 15, according to Cpl. Bridgette Dugas, spokesperson for the Lafayette Police Department.
The two juvenile victims injured gave conflicting accounts on what occurred, Dugas stated. One teen sustained a gunshot wound to the ankle and the other to the leg.
The spokesperson said police are not getting much corporation from the juveniles.
