The Lafayette City-Parish council members will discuss a resolution to observe LGBTQ Pride Month in the city, during Tuesday’s meeting.
Councilman Kenneth Boudreaux is sponsoring the item.
The resolution says LGBTQ youth should feel safe to learn without fear of harassment and LGBTQ families and seniors should be allowed to live without discrimination and prejudice.
