An Acadiana group is bringing women together through books.
The Dare to Read book club is a monthlong program that promotes discussion and a sense of community among readers.
The group spearheading the campaign, Women United, celebrated the start of the program at Barnes & Noble on Saturday.
They discussed their first book, Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead.
