The man shot in a domestic disturbance with his son on Alice Drive has died. The son, police say, is now in custody.
Police say the victim a 44-year-old man was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The suspect, who has not been identified, is currently in police custody. He is being treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
The investigating surrounding the circumstances is still actively being investigated.
The shooting happened on the 200 block Alice Drive at around 5:47 pm Friday following a domestic disturbance between a father and son.
Police were looking for the 23-year-old son who allegedly fired one shot at his father and fled the scene.
KATC’s Justice Henderson is on the scene and has learned from a neighbor that two children came and knocked on the door asking if they could use the phone to call the police.
