A roundtable focusing on animals and the initiative to make Lafayette Parish no-kill by 2010 was held Tuesday.
A panel of representatives, including animal advocates and a representative from Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center, spoke on the No Kill 2020 initiative in the parish.
Those in attendance learned what they can do to help contribute to Lafayette pet care.
The initiative is focused on reaching no-kill status in the parish for animal shelters. The panal was hosted by The705 at the SLCC Health and Sciences Auditorium on the SLCC campus in Lafayette.
