Sheriff Bobby Webre says his Financial Crimes Unit arrested St. Pierre after an investigation into a $40,000 payment he received to repair a flood-damaged home in 2017. No work was ever completed, the sheriff says. St. Pierre’s business partner refunded the victim $20,000, the the rest of the money wasn’t ever paid back, the sheriff said.
