Cane’s presents checks to Acadiana pet welfare organizations

Acadiana animal shelters have received a donation from Raising Cane’s

The donation, in the form of checks totaling $3,865.41 was presented to three area shelters. Thursday, Raising Cane’s presented a check to Acadiana Animal Aid in the amount of $1,911.29. They say the donations are a part of their annual holiday sale of plush puppies.

Checks were also presented to Animal Rescue Foundation and St. Martin Humane Society

“Raising Cane’s is passionate about giving back to every community we serve, and pet welfare is one of our primary areas of focus,” said Danny Caudle, Area Leader of Restaurants for Cane’s. “Keeping pets healthy and providing animals with loving homes through organizations like these are one of our most important goals. Caniacs are some of the most generous people you’ll find anywhere, and we’re grateful to them for pitching in to help us make this donation possible.”
