LAFAYETTE, La. – Just a week after expansion of its Lafayette operations that included the addition of a new downtown headquarters and plans for new in-office jobs, Waitr is holding a job fair to hire an additional 250 delivery drivers in the city.
The food delivery service is looking for full-time and part-time delivery drivers. Applicants are encouraged to bring updated copies of their resume and proper new-hire documentation, including a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. You must be 18 years or older to apply.
Waitr offers flexible schedules for its drives and the average pay typically ranges from $13-$17 an hour. Weekly pay and benefit options are available.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, from 9am-2pm at Opportunity Machine, located at 537 Cajundome Boulevard, Suite 111 in Lafayette.
