UPDATE: Team Cloteaux Construction are the winners of this year’s gumbo cook-off!
The Krewe of Triton is kicking off the Mardi Gras season with their Chicken and Sausage Gumbo Cook-off.
Happening now in Scott, a 5-dollar-fee will allow you to taste an unlimited amount of gumbo.
Participants in the cook-off started cooking their gumbos at 8 a.m.
Water and soft drinks are also being served. Other than that, it’s BYOB!
The cook-off is going on at their warehouse at 109 Asset Drive.
The Krewe of Triton Parade rolls in Lafayette on Monday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m.
