The boil water advisory for residents and businesses in the area of LA Highway 93 between Gloria Switch Road and Vatican Road has been lifted.
On Wednesday, Water District North (WDN) and Lafayette Utilities System (LUS) issued a boil water advisory after a private contractor hit an LUS water line causing low water pressure.
The advisory was issued as a result of that damage. Crews worked to repair the damage and now, that boil advisory has been lifted.
