Money is being raised for a Youngsville family who lost their 3-year-old son due to medical complications.
Matt and Melisse LaBauve’s son, Kasen, suffered a stroke January 18 and died after a week-long stay at a New Orleans-based hospital.
Today, LaBauve’s neighbor, Keith Jenkins, along with Rusty Steel of Cajun Market Donuts, hosted Cars and King Cake for Kasen at Youngsville Sports Complex.
The event was held to help raise money for the the couple and show them community support during this trying time.
Some people brought their classic cars and hot rods and motorcycles for showing, and everyone enjoyed king cake donuts and coffee.
All donations accepted go directly to the LaBauves.
