FoodNet Food Bank has assisted individuals and families in need of food in Lafayette parish for over 30 years. Now, they’re gearing up to help Acadiana’s furloughed federal employees.
Starting Monday, you can drop food donations that will be distributed to local Federal Employees impacted by the government shutdown at the Advertiser.
The donations will be accepted at the Daily Advertiser building at 1100 Bertrand Dr. Lafayette, LA, 70506 weekdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
FoodNet Food Bank will pick up, sort and bag the food and distribute it to local Federal Employees in need of food.
All nonperishable food items will be accepted.
