A brick post in front of Comeaux High was damaged this morning.

Assistant Superintendent Joe Craig said the crash happened at about 3 a.m., when a driver traveling on Digby drove straight across the ditch in front of the school and hit the column.
It’s the second or third time that a motorist has done that, Craig said. Last time, the motorist missed the columns and hit the building, he said.
LPSS maintenance crews have taken a look, and they’ve estimated the repair costs between $7,000 and $10,000 Craig said.
As of noon, the bricks had been cleaned up.
