Santa Claus stopped by the South College Shopping center today during their annual “Santa Sleigh Ride.” Children got help writing their wish lists, the Christmas tree was lit, and merchants offered special promotions to shoppers who came by.
This year’s event honored the memory of Lane Begnaud and the organization “Lane’s Legacy” which helps families of children with cancer.
“This event was two-fold. One to raise more awareness to childhood cancer… and two, to bring awareness to Lane’s Legacy and his mission and what we hope to accomplish through it,” says Erin Begnaud.
