LPSS held a presentation Friday, giving out achievement awards to school staff and administrators.
The achievement awards were held at the Vermilion Conference Center at the Lafayette Parish School Board Offices.
Dr. Aguillard presented these awards to schools that are performing well deserve some recognition.
“So, we’re giving out banners for top-gains schools, for equity schools, schools that made enormous progress. So today, we’re giving out about 36 banners, going out to 36 schools. It’s our way of saying we value what goes on in the classroom, our teachers, and our students, and our parents,” Superintended Aguillard said.
