Emergency crews were on the scene of a vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Ambassador Caffery and West Congress on Monday morning in Lafayette.
Photos shared with KATC show a truck overturned along the side of the roadway. The roadway has been cleared and traffic is now back to normal. The accident caused some delays for motorists traveling through the intersection this morning.
Lafayette Police say that only one vehicle was involved in the crash. That person received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
