Lafayette Police have arrested two teens in connection with an incident that also involved a man being shot by an officer.

Police responded to the 400 block of Hilda Street Tuesday night for a call of “criminal activity,” police said initially.

Today, police released the details about that initial call. A citizen called in a complaint about some men smoking pot on their front porch. One man, identified by state police as 19-year-old Keion Bonner of Lafayette, was shot by a Lafayette officer during the investigation. State Police are now investigating that shooting.

Lafayette Police say they arrested Tyrese Davnota Carter, 17, and Kane Joseph Wyatt, 18, in connection with their investigation into the initial complaint.
