Two arrested, two sought in armed robbery-narcotics investigation

Investigators with the Broussard Police have arrested two in connection with an armed robbery.

While investigating an alleged armed robbery at a Broussard home, police located drugs and obtained an arrest warrant for the resident.

Cody Gary, 21, has turned himself in and was booked with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of money used in drug transactions.

Sydney Vongphachan, 20, of Abbeville, was booked on the same charges.

 The armed robbery suspects are still being sought, police say.

One suspect is described as a black male, 180-200 lbs, 6’-6’2” tall wearing a dark hoodie (grayish/black), black pants, black mask with a plastic hockey mask over it, gloves and carrying a black handgun.  The second suspect is also a black male, 160-180 lbs., 5’10”-6’ tall, wearing a dark hoodie (grayish/black), dark colored jeans, black mask, gloves and carrying a two-tone handgun.
