Repairs were made to a water line in a Lafayette neighboorhood after crews with AT&T hit the line while installing fiber optic cable.
KATC received a call shortly before 6 p.m. from a neighbor on Presbytere Pkwy. to report water spewing from the line, causing flooding in some lawns.
The water has since been contained.
The water was shut off for some time but is now back on.
