No one was hurt after a bullet struck a vehicle driving on Johnston Street in Lafayette.
According to police, on Monday at 6:21 p.m., the victim was driving northbound in the 4200 block of Johnston Street, at the intersection of Brentwood, when he heard a loud noise suspected to be gunfire. “I heard an ear-piercing pop,” said the victim. The driver pulled over and discovered a bullet hole in the back door of his four-door dark gray Subaru Impreza and called the police.
