According to The Advocate, the JCPenney store in the Acadiana Mall has been sold but the company will remain a tenant in the building.
Company officials said that the retailer sold the building to Out of the Box Ventures, a subsidiary of a real estate company in Miami. The sale was reportedly for $705, 302.
The lease between the companies expires in 2024.
