Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a possible drive-by shooting in the 6300 block of Old Jeanerette Road in the parish.
The sheriff’s office says that one person was injured in the shooting.
The shooting happened after 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 23. Officials say one person was shot in the ankle during the incident.
The department says they only have a vague description of a vehicle that was in the area at the time of the shooting. That vehicle is said to be a white truck. No other information was available.
