Fremin’s Food and Furniture is back open for business in New Iberia.
The store has been closed since last March when a fire damaged much of the building.
The store owners held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand re-opening.
“We want to take care of our customers,” said David Freemin. “And if you look around today, you can see our customers taking care of us. They’ve been supportive through this whole thing, it’s been almost a year since everything went down. We’re just pleased as can be to have this kind of turn out and everybody here.”
