A bicyclist is dead following a crash with a pick-up truck on LA 31 near the St. Martin/Iberia Parish line.
Troopers say the bicyclist was rear-ended by a pick-up truck.
The victim was thrown from the bicycle and sustained fatal injuries, according to Troop I.
The identity of the bicyclist has not yet been released.
Troopers have cleared the scene, but traffic may be moving slowly in that area.
