Witnesses say that New Iberia Police are working a chase in the Cade area of St. Martin Parish.
Those on scene say a high-speed chase ended near the Food N Fun off of La 182 and 92.
New Iberia Police say two people are in custody. This pursuit was in reference to an ongoing investigation by New Iberia officers.
Police remain on the scene but the road is now open.
