St. Edward School hosted its 14th Annual Race for Education today.
Faculty, staff and students participate in the annual event, walking, running or jogging around the school block as many times as they can during an hour.
Participants raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible amount based on the number of laps completed or simply a flat donation.
Everyone from the three-year-old preschool students to the third graders participates.
The most recent estimate was that St. Edward School has raised more than $28,000.
