This weekend, you can help Acadiana rebound by volunteering with the United Way to help clean up the community.
On Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., volunteers from the community will form dozens of teams and help create a cleaner Acadiana through litter abatement and beautification projects.
"It's a really quick and great way to get involved with your community. If you don't feel comfy participating city-wide, you can really just go around you neighborhood like a block or two and just go and pick up," explained Ji'carla Martinez, Volunteer Manager at United Way. "It's a great way to reconnect with friends that you haven't seen but also keep a good social distance and just work to further beautify the community that we live in."
