Early voting ends today

Today is the last day to get your early vote for the gubernatorial primary election and other local and state races.

Early voting started at 8:30 a.m. today and voting will end at 6 p.m. tonight.

665 candidate races, 58 propositions, and four proposed constitutional amendments will be on this year's ballot for Louisiana residents.

Candidates in the gubernatorial race include the three front runners - current governor John Bel Edwards, businessman Eddie Rispone, and Congressman Ralph Abraham.

Early voting will take place at parish Registrar of Voters Office or other designated locations.
