LAKE CHARLES, La. – Police are asking for assistance identifying a hit-and-run suspect.
On December 6 at 6:00 a.m., an 84-year-old man, while checking his mail, was struck by a car traveling southbound in the 7500 block of Choupique Rd. in Sulphur. The car is believed to be a 2008-2013 maroon Nissan Sentra and will be missing the passenger side mirror.
The victim is recovering in the hospital with a severe injury to his hand.
