In the heart of Acadia Parish is a workshop that is partly responsible for bringing people the sounds of Cajun culture.

Since the 1960s, the Mouton branded accordion has been seen in the hands of countless Cajun musicians.

Now run by Greg Mouton the quality of the instruments hasn’t changed a bit.

We want to make sure because they feel we’re making the best instrument out there, said Greg Mouton, Mounton Music Store.

And the store offers more than just accordions everything from drums to guitars to lessons can be found there, and later this week KATC’s Daniel Phillips will have a full report for GMA on the road in Acadia Parish.
