Acadia Parish Sheriff’s deputies have cited a former coach for having sexual relations with three students.
Because the students are all over the age of 18 and thus adults, Caitlyn Miceli, 28, was issued a misdemeanor summons on a charge of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student.
If the students would have been under the age of 18, it would have been a felony charge.
Miceli is a former part-time coach at Rayne High School.
Although the students are adults, it is still a violation of Louisiana law for an educator to have sexual contact with a student.
