Church Point Chief of Police Albert Venable is retiring after 28 years in the position.
Tonight, he gave his final 10-7 call, addressing and thanking those who worked alongside him in his career.
Chief Venable also wished incoming Chief Dale Thibodeaux well as he starts his term.
He closed out the call by quoting Albert Einstein: “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.”
