At the Rice Festival Building in Crowley, children received some presents ahead of Christmas.
Thursday, One Voice One Choice held their inaugural “Helping Heart at Christmas” event. At the event, the group gave away gifts to over 400 children in the Crowley community. The event featured food, games, door prizes and more.
It was free to those in the community.
“We see so many kids that go without yearly. We won’t be able to touch everybody, but just to be able to touch the ones we are, is touching hearts, and we’re giving something that some of them won’t receive,” said organizer Tasha Senegal.
