Another arrested, one sought in Acadia Parish Jail contraband investigation

Sheriff K.P. Gibson says that a continued investigation into the introduction of contraband into the parish jail by a former deputy has resulted in the arrest of another person. An active warrant has also been issued for a fourth suspect.

29-year-old Brittany Driskill of Eunice was arrested and booked on Charges of Principle to Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Shamyra Gray of Crowley on those same charges.

A former Acadia Parish deputy,  45-year-old Regina Senegal, was arrested and charged on December 7 after she allegedly brought a cell phone, tobacco products, and other contraband into the parish jail and provided them to inmates.
