Acadia St. Landry Hospital is celebrating the feast day of St. Nicholas with their Christmas Festival.
The event happened this evening on the hospital grounds in Church Point.
Thanks to Acadian Ambulance, Santa Claus arrived at the event via helicopter, giving his reindeer a break ahead of Christmas Eve.
Once Santa got settled, he took pictures with the kids.
Among the activities were a live nativity scene, face painting and performances from local church choirs.
Guests enjoyed pizza, cookies and hot chocolate.
