The annual Robert’s Cove Germanfest wraps up today.
The small community celebrates its German heritage every year during the first week of October.
The events included music, authentic German food, German beer, folklore demonstrations and children’s activities.
“The fellowship – watching everybody smile, seeing people they haven’t seen in years, visiting, that’s really the best part,” Gretchen Zaunerecher, President of the Robert’s Cove Germanfest Association tells KATC. “A close second is the food. We have a lot of beer, too!”
