Nearly twenty senior citizens are being honored tonight in Acadia Parish.
The Acadia Council on Aging held a banquet at the International Rice Festival Building in Crowley where attendees were treated to dinner and a program about the honorees.
Those honored are being praised for the contributions they made to the parish.
Ivan Lewis, President of the Board of Directors of the Acadia Council on Aging, says it’s important to celebrate and acknowledge the work and legacy of the senior citizens in the parish.
